April 20: CCI presents condolences for the demise of a great scholar

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

On behalf of the Canadian Council of Imams, we extend deepest sympathies to our long standing member, Dr Saeed Faizi Nadvi, upon the passing away of his dear father, Shaikh MehboorRahman Nadvi in Lucknow, India. May Allah grant him his rightful place in Janna and elevate his status among the Abrar and Ulama Haq. He was indeed an ocean of knowledge, an expert in Quranic exegesis and an humble branch holding the tree of Prophetic heritage for decades.

To Allah belongs what he takes, and to him belongs what he gives and everything and everyone has a deadline.

May Allah grant his offspring the necessary wherewithal of endurance during this grieving moment and do not deprive us of His blessings after he is gone.
